MX Lookup
Look up MX (Mail Exchange) records for any domain. See which mail servers handle email delivery, their priorities, and resolved IP addresses.
What are MX records?
MX (Mail Exchange) records are DNS records that specify which mail servers are responsible for receiving email on behalf of a domain. Each MX record has a priority value — the lower the number, the higher the preference.
When someone sends an email to your domain, their mail server looks up your MX records to determine where to deliver the message. If the highest-priority server is unavailable, delivery falls back to servers with higher priority numbers.
Correctly configured MX records are essential for email delivery. Misconfigured records can cause emails to bounce or be delayed.
